Once you've created a Peer-to-Peer or Team Crowdfunding campaign, the most important step is configuring how fundraisers register and what tools they have. Here's a walkthrough of the key settings.
Fundraiser Registration Settings
In your campaign editor, go to the Registration section:
- Custom Fields — Collect whatever information you need from fundraisers at signup (e.g., T-shirt size, phone number, city/branch).
- Approval Workflow — Enable this if you want to manually approve each fundraiser before their page goes live. Without approval, they're active immediately after registering.
- Registration Fee — Optionally charge a fee to register (common for walk/run events). Set the amount and configure whether it's refundable.
- Commitment System — Set a minimum fundraising goal that each fundraiser agrees to raise. This creates accountability and can be used to display commitment progress on their personal page.
Campaign Templates and Page Sections
LevCharity offers 5 campaign page templates: Overlay, Minimal, Storyteller, Bold, and Event. Choose the one that fits your campaign's visual tone.
Each campaign page has 9 toggleable sections (e.g., goal bar, leaderboard, team list, sponsor wall). Turn on only the sections relevant to your campaign to keep the page clean and focused.
Managing Fundraisers
In the CRM, under the Fundraisers view, you can:
- See all registered fundraisers and their current total raised.
- Reassign a fundraiser to a different campaign or team.
- Reassign donations — if a donation was made to the wrong fundraiser, you can move it to the correct one.
- Send bulk emails to all fundraisers from the CRM.
For Team Crowdfunding campaigns, Team Captains get a slightly elevated experience:
- They can send messages to their team members.
- Their personal page shows both their individual total and their team's total.
- You can configure whether captains can approve or reject members joining their team.
Campaign Add-Ons
Available add-ons for any campaign type:
- Gamification — Badges, virtual coin wallets, and a prize shop. See the Gamification section for setup details.
- Sponsorship Items — Let businesses or major donors "sponsor" a specific item at a named price.
- Matching Campaign — Announce a 2x, 3x, or 4x match from a lead donor. See Setting Up a Matching Campaign.
- Bonus Round — A timed extension to your campaign that activates after the main deadline.
