Sponsorship Items are named, priced giving opportunities — think "Sponsor a Classroom: $2,500" or "Gold Table Sponsor: $10,000". They're a great way to give major donors a tangible, recognizable way to contribute at a higher level.
- Open your campaign in the editor.
- Go to Add-ons → Sponsorship Items.
- Click Add Item.
- For each item enter:
- Name (displayed to donors, e.g., "Platinum Sponsor")
- Description (what the sponsorship covers)
- Price (fixed amount)
- Quantity available (set to 1 if only one sponsor can claim it, or more for tiered packages)
- Optional: an image representing the item
- Save. Items appear as a dedicated section on your campaign page.
Sponsorship Items can also be added as an add-on to a standard donation form (not just campaigns):
- In the donation form editor, go to Add-ons → Sponsorship Items.
- Follow the same steps as above.
- In the form's checkout flow, donors see the sponsorship items as a separate selectable option alongside the standard donation amounts.
When a sponsorship item is claimed:
- It appears as a transaction in the Donations section of the relevant form or campaign.
- The CRM records the donor with the sponsorship item noted in their activity.
- If quantity was limited to 1, it automatically shows as Sold Out on the public page once claimed.
- Use round, meaningful numbers ($1,800, $5,000, $18,000) where culturally appropriate.
- Write descriptions that connect the price to real impact ("Funds our food pantry for one month").
- Pair sponsorship items with a Matching Campaign — a lead sponsor's gift can both sponsor an item and serve as the matching fund.
