LevCharity's email delivery rules give you fine-grained control over when and to whom automated emails are sent. These settings live in Step 4 of the Email Creation Wizard and can be set globally or per-form.
A send delay holds the email for a specified time before delivering it. Common uses:
To set a delay: in the email wizard Step 4, enable Send Delay and enter the hours or days.
Country rules send (or suppress) a specific email only for donors from a specific country. This is useful when:
To add a country rule: in Step 4, click Add Country Rule, select the country, and choose whether the rule includes or excludes that country.
Currency rules filter emails based on the currency of the transaction. Useful for:
To add a currency rule: in Step 4, click Add Currency Rule, select the currency, and choose include or exclude.
Rules stack — you can have a send delay and a country rule and a currency rule on the same email. LevCharity applies all conditions (AND logic): the email only fires if all conditions are met.
For complex scenarios (e.g., different thank-you emails for USD donors vs. CAD donors), create two separate email entries for the same trigger, each with the appropriate currency rule. That way each donor gets the right email.
